Generation Plan
Advanced structure where commissions flow across "generations", groups defined by rank rather than level. Often combined with Unilevel as a premium / senior-rank bonus.
Core concept
- A "generation" starts when a downline member reaches a qualifying rank
- Your commission from that generation flows until the NEXT generation break starts (another qualified downline)
- Generations can be unlimited depth (if no one in between qualifies)
Example
You are a "Silver" rank with Unilevel earning 3% on level 1-5.
Your Level-3 downline hits "Silver" too, they become a "Generation break".
Everything BELOW that Silver (even if 20 levels deep) is no longer paid under your Unilevel depth, BUT you earn a special generation bonus (e.g. 2%) on all their volume until their downline hits another Silver.

- Creates incentive to help downline members rank up (which expands your generation)
- Uncapped earning potential for senior ranks
Typical configurations
- 1st generation: 5%
- 2nd generation: 4%
- 3rd generation: 3%
- 4th generation: 2%
- 5th+ generations: 1%
Generation depth (how many generations you earn on) typically tied to rank, Silver gets 3 gens, Gold 5, Diamond unlimited.
Best for
Product-focused MLMs with strong rank-advancement focus. Common in health & wellness, cosmetics, personal care MLMs.
